Home Information
- By some folks standards, some of the rooms in this house may seem
small. Not so for us! However if you are looking for vast inside spaces
this won't be it for you.
- House size is 28' wide x 32' deep
- Water is from a well and excellent quality! There are approximately
9 acres in two lots connected. A second home could be built on the
additional lot if desired.
- All ceilings have a very nice decorative pattern.
- Roadrunner Internet cable and cable TV access installed.
- Two phone lines installed at the workshop and house.
- Wood stove heat and Propane heat. Duct work throughout. We only
heated with wood last winter and
turned the propane on only for quick warm ups in the early fall. We cut
only dead trees on the property.
- Plenty of electric outlets everywhere. 220 amp service.
- Propane hot water.
- Garage has hook up for generator.
- Taxes about 2,500 yr
- Driveway is a U-shape with two entrances. One is steep.
- Climb the hill in the back and you're in Pennsylvania.
- Septic tank sewage and was pumped 3 yrs ago. The first pumping in 16
years and was not even needed.
- Home built around 1989, garage and stable a bit newer.
- I don't think you could build all this for less than our price. Let
alone the land, well, etc costs!
Some things that may need a-doin' someday
- Add an access door or 2 for attic eve storage
- Squeaky steps. Steps from 1st to 2nd floor are indeed squeaky, just
haven't got to it yet.
- Closet re-installed in 2nd floor 2nd bedroom
